Wedding | Modern Elegance

Stephanie and Felix’s elegant Brisbane wedding was one of those celebrations that remind us what it’s all about: establishing meaningful connections that go far beyond the camera. For us, it’s the friendships forged with our couples that light us up and drive us to do what we do each day, and Steph and Felix were no exception.

These two lovers celebrated their day at Eagle Farm Racecourse; a classic Ascot venue filled with old-world charm that suited them both to an absolute tee. With the perfect blend of modern elegance, their day was crafted around simple, timeless and personal styling details, allowing the natural beauty of the venue to shine through.

Together with their favourite people, Steph and Felix exchanged vows in a sweet courtyard ceremony with a lush leafy fig tree as their backdrop. Rocking white lace and velvet, these two (and their uber-chic bridal party) were the epitome of understated glamour.

We had so much fun taking full advantage of the diverse photo locations across the venue for an epic portrait session. From striking architectural facades to winding stairways and trackside grandstands, it was an absolute joy to stroll through the racecourse and capture these two lovers in their element!

Inside the Tote Room (a heritage-listed hall complete with 18-ft ceilings, natural brickwork and polished timber floors), an elegant dinner party was set underneath strings of festoon lights, ready for a night of shared laughter, heartfelt speeches and dance floor fun. From the natural charm of the venue to the incredible team and overall vibe of the day, we’d say this love-filled celebration was total and utter perfection.

To Steph and Felix – congratulations, lovers! We are eternally grateful not only for the privilege of documenting your day, but for the friendship we forged throughout our experience together.
