When it comes to wedding planning, we’re big believers in allocating your budget to the areas that matter most – designing a day with meaning, sentiment and purpose. Our sweet couple Vichi and Anthony did exactly this, and the result was a heart-centered celebration that was so perfectly “them” from start to finish.
After 10 years together, these two lovers wanted to tie the knot in a low-key yet beautifully styled party that brought their nearest and dearest together. From a helicopter ride around the snow-capped mountains of New Zealand, to their elegant industrial wedding at Lightspace in Brisbane, it was an absolute honour to document both parts of this unforgettable celebration.
First; a quick trip to New Zealand for pre-wedding portraits – not just because it was one of Vichi and Anthony’s favourite places, but also to ensure they could spend more time with family and friends on their wedding day. Camera in tow, we boarded a helicopter and set out to capture the most incredible snaps amidst soaring mountain peaks, rugged landscapes and dreamy golden light – pure magic!
The wedding day itself took place at iconic Brisbane venue, Lightspace in Fortitude Valley. Working with the talented team at White + White Weddings, this industrial warehouse space was transformed into a thoughtfully styled setting filled with heart and sophistication.
In an intimate gathering of pure love, Vichi and Anthony exchanged their vows in front of a lush flower wall and linen draping, as beautiful promises were shared (and a few happy tears shed!). Their warehouse reception oozed modern romantic vibes; the industrial surroundings perfectly juxtaposed with elegant details and soft, romantic styling. From crystal chandeliers and suspended white roses to a checkerboard dance floor and vine-covered cake swing, each element worked together in perfect harmony for a celebration of love, laughter and so much fun.
