Wedding | Industrial Romance

Paula and Brandon’s epic Los Angeles wedding will forever have a soft spot in our hearts. After a 5-month engagement, this artistic duo planned an authentic celebration packed with lush botanicals, eclectic styling and an amazing bunch of humans, and it was the absolute best fun you could have at a wedding.

Taking place at dreamy loft-style venue Millwick in downtown LA, their day began with an intimate courtyard ceremony, framed by vertical gardens and towering palms to create the ultimate tropical oasis. This bridal party was the epitome of understated style, with Paula rocking a caped wedding gown, her girls in bright florals, and the guys in dapper navy suits. What a crew!

Even as it began to rain mid-way through their ceremony, these lovers remained completely in the moment and totally unphased – umbrellas came out, vows were shared, and it was perfect. We then weaved our way throughout the iconic streets of downtown LA, capturing candid portraits against graffiti-covered walls, urban architecture and colourful backdrops. Back at the reception venue (a modern-industrial space complete with white rafters, glass windows and exposed brick walls), an urban jungle was brought to life with plenty of lush greenery, rustic timber tables and simple white blooms.

Festivities kicked off with an impromptu musical performance by the groom, soon followed by a truly epic dance floor underneath glittering disco ball lights. The atmosphere was electric! These lovers, their friends, we could capture them over and over again and call it success. A very special bunch of people, celebrating a very special kind of love.

To Paula and Brandon; we are so deeply thankful for the absolute privilege of documenting your day – we hold the happiest memories from our time shared together.
